Thank you for choosing us to guide you on your journey to becoming a certified Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) Instructor. Whether you're just starting with us or already part of our community, our mission is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to excel as a P.E.T. instructor.

• Group dynamics: Gain hands-on experience facilitating group dynamics and practice your newly acquired skills in a supportive environment.

 
Training structure:

 

Becoming a P.E.T. instructor/facilitator is a process that takes at least one year to complete. Since we work with individuals, you have the flexibility to train at your own pace, based on your schedule and location preferences.

 

We offer both in-person and online training, all conducted on a private, one-on-one basis. This ensures specialized instruction tailored to your strengths and needs, allowing you to develop your own approach to teaching this program in your community.

 

Additionally, you have the option to pay per session as you progress. This gives you the opportunity to complete Step 1 before making a final decision on whether you want to continue with the full certification. 
 

• Attend and actively participate in each session.

• Complete a practice teaching session during the workshop.

• Be monitored and evaluated by an experienced instructor trainer.

• Teach a qualifying P.E.T. course to a group of at least four participants within 18 months of completing the training.

 

After you qualify:

 

Once certified, you’ll join a partnership with Parent & Educational Training. This partnership provides ongoing training through meetings, workshops, and courses with fellow instructors. You'll also have the opportunity to build your own business as a Parent Effectiveness Training instructor.
